Jonkershoek E-Bike to View Point (Self Guided) – Stellenbosch

Includes: E-Bike, Safety Gear, Navigation Route on Free App
Excludes: Reserve Entry Fee, Cell Phone with data – you would need a mobile phone with data to follow the trail.

Distance: 11 km inside the reserve
(From Lanzerac Trail Center you have a 6.6km cycle on a bicycle track to reach the reserve.
Departure Point: Lanzerac Wine Estate, Vinebikes Trail Centre
Price: R 450 per Ebike / R 150 per Half Wheeler / R 50 per Star Seat
Sill Level: You need to be able to ride a bicycle to ride the e-bikes.
If you have a child on a half wheeler or star seat attached to your e-bike then you need to be a confident rider.

What is an E-Fatbike
E-Fatbikes makes this anybody’s adventure as you can go further and explore more! E-Bikes are bicycles integrated with a motor and a battery that assists the cyclist and allows them to cycle further with less effort.
The Route
Most of the tour is on Jeep Tracks and not technical. The route is fairly easy with the aim to experience and explore as much of the mountains as possible.
Tour Description
Tour departs from Lanzerac Hotel & Spa at the Vinebike Ebike Center. At the Trail Centre your guide will introduce you to your E-Fatbike and issue you with your safety equipment.
You start with a 5 km scenic route toward the reserve before you start your ascent into the mountain assisted by the Electric Bike. You will enjoy majestic alpine like views. You will also cycle through forest pockets on your way to the view point.
At the furthest and highest point of the cycle time will stand still as you enjoy breath taking views. Don’t forget to pack some snacks!
